Upon your arrival at Kochi airport, you will be greeted by the tour manager before being transferred to your pre-booked hotel in Kochi. In the early evening, you will be picked up by the driver to visit the Kathakali Dance show Centre in an air-conditioned theater. The show timings are from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm. Kathakali is an ancient dance form with elements found within the ritual plays of Hindu temples and various dance forms that gradually developed in Kerala from as early as the 2nd century until the end of the 16th century. Although many of its characteristics are older than its literature, it wasn't until the 17th century that the Rajah of Kottarakkara, a small principality in central Travancore, wrote plays based on the Hindu epic "Ramayana" in Sanskritized Malayam, which could be understood by the common people. After the show, you will return to the hotel in Cochin for an overnight stay.

The palace was gifted by the Portuguese to the king of Cochin in 1555, and the Dutch later renovated it in 1663. The Paradesi Synagogue, also known as the Cochin Jewish Synagogue or the Mattancherry Synagogue, was built by Sephardic or Spanish-speaking Jews, some of whom were exiled in Aleppo, Safed, and other West Asian localities. The Chinese Fishing Net is a popular land installation for fishing in India, commonly known as "Chinese fishing nets," or formally, "shore operated lift nets." These huge mechanical contrivances hold out horizontal nets of 20 meters or more across the ocean. You'll also visit the Santa Cruz Cathedral Basilica, Kochi, and St. Francis Church, Kochi. The former is one of the eight Basilicas in Kerala and is visited by tourists all year round, while the latter is the oldest European church in India, built-in 1503, and has great historical significance as a mute witness to the ECU colonial struggle within the subcontinent.
