Visiting Swayambhunath and then taking part in a nearby wood carving workshop was the highlight of my trip to Nepal. The spiritual atmosphere combined with the craft session was truly unique. I learned a lot about the religious symbols in Nepali art and even got to carve one myself. This workshop was not just about learning a skill, but also about connecting with the culture.
